Scott is a Fort Lauderdale native who grew up living aboard and cruising between South Florida and the Turks & Caicos Islands. Scott has a long history of civic activism as well as volunteering in Fort Lauderdale, focused on neighborhood redevelopment. For the last 4 years, Scott has served as General Manager for South Florida Performance Boats LLC, the largest Nor-Tech high-performance center console dealer in the world. Prior to that Scott served as Director of All Points Boats, a well-known superyacht refit company in South Florida.
Scott currently serves as President & CEO of Intrepid Consulting, a management consulting firm. Scott also serves as a Director of Pets Broward a 501(c)3 pet charity. Scott has obtained a diverse experience in the manufacturing, service and telecommunication industries while founding and working in senior executive financial and operational positions with U.S. Plastic Lumber Corp., a formerly NASDAQ listed conglomerate that manufactured recycled plastic lumber and associated products and also processed hazardous and nonhazardous waste. Scott co-founded and served as COO of International Telecommunication Systems, a telecommunications firm that established one of the first IP based telephony satellite networks throughout Central and South America.
Scott founded and served as President of Coinfianza, a facilities-based telecommunications service provider. Scott served as General Manager for several divisions of the global ERP provider, Exact Software, based in the Netherlands. More recently, Scott founded and served as CEO of both waste container manufacturer Iron Container and GFRC manufacturer American Rock Products. Scott graduated with honors from the Huizenga School of Business at Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in International Business.
